Our story, your adventure

How did it all begin? It was 1982 when, as young people in our early twenties, we set off on a five-week adventure to Greece, hitchhiking there via Italy and back via the Balkans. The itch to travel started again in 2024 when, in my sixties, I spent three weeks travelling through Western Australia in search of adventure, with a Toyota Previa at my disposal in which I could sleep, cook, do my washing and wash up.

Or was it actually 2025 when one of my children asked if they could borrow one of the two large campervans for a holiday trip and I thought… why not set off on an adventure with a tent or a campervan? That’s how the idea for Globolino Adventures was born, through which we aim to inspire thousands of people, young and old, to set off on an adventure in a campervan or motorhome.

And who are we? We’re Edwin, Thale and Simon: adventurers, campers, hosts and entrepreneurs. Together, we’ll help you as best we can. We believe in our philosophy and put it into practice with the small campervan – one you can hire affordably, park anywhere, drive easily and economically, and which is equipped with all the comforts you need for an adventurous holiday.
