We’ll provide you with a cable to connect to what’s known as ‘shore power’ when you’re at a campsite or motorhome pitch. This will supply power to your fridge and other appliances.
Off-grid camping is a different matter. It means you have enough electrical power to keep your fridge cool, both during the day and at night when the motorhome’s engine is switched off, even when you don’t have shore power. And so you can ‘survive’ for a few days without shore power, or continue to power your fridge during the day, even in hot conditions. This isn’t essential, as it cools down again automatically whilst you’re driving or when you’re connected to shore power once more. We have an Ecoflow Pro available especially for off-grid days. It’s a sort of mega power bank which, when fully charged, provides electricity and power for several days and has all sorts of sockets for a fridge, laptop, phone, kettle and so on. You can hire this as an extra when you make your booking.
